Menopause & Peri-Menopause

I'm treating more ladies with peri-menopause & menopause symptoms now than at any other time. Awarenesses & the recent surge in publicity around the subject have certainly helped, but also women are taking control of their health and what's right for them. For many, HRT will be the answer but this is not a 'one size fits all' solution. For some people it will be the dream answer to so many symptoms, for other's it may not work for them & other's will want to give everything else a try before going down that route at all. I mainly see women in the second and third category but I also see women seeking support alongside HRT. Whatever works for you during this time is the right way, only you can say what is the best support for your own health.

There are homeopathic remedies that can be really effective for the various symptoms of menopause & as we are learning there are quite a few! The days are certainly gone where menopause was associated with just hot flushes and a gradual end to our periods. I see ladies with brain fog, headaches, loss of confidence, loss of libido, vaginal dryness, incontinence, anger/irritability, memory loss, hair loss to name but a few. And of course I see lots & lots of hot flushes.

Taking Essential Fatty Acids can be a really good place to start. I would highly recommend body brushing too as this keeps the lymphatic system moving. Using essential oils such as Rose & Geranium help to promote progesterone, as well as smell amazing!

If you would like some effective, gentle, non-toxic support during this transformative time of your life then get in touch. Claire x
